Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE) is a set of features that can be accessed directly from the SOTI MobiControl console. SOTI has partnered with Samsung to integrate with KPE – using the Knox Service Plugin (KSP) – so all you need to do is enable these powerful features on the console with a license key.

This used to be a premium feature that you would have to pay for but now, the license is completely free of charge. With this recent pricing update, we’re excited to share that more businesses can now access these powerful capabilities at no extra cost. So, what’s stopping you?

SOTI MobiControl and Samsung Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE): Keeping Data Protected and Workers Productive

Using the Knox Service Plugin (KSP) fully integrated by SOTI MobiControl, organizations can access the latest features of KPE as a zero-day support channel.

Flexible Device Configuration

Almost every tab in each Samsung device’s settings menu is configurable from your SOTI MobiControl console, such as:

• Display
• Location
• Language
• Notifications
• Side key usage
• Wi-Fi access

Tune and adapt each device and deploy these settings over-the-air (OTA) to allow mobile workers greater and faster productivity.

DeX Configuration

Allow mobile workers to use their Samsung Galaxy smartphones as if they were laptops or desktop computers by connecting them to a monitor. On the big screen, it’s easier for them to open files, write documents, edit presentations and create spreadsheets.

And while mobile workers are utilizing DeX, you can still ensure the safety and security of devices and data by setting screen timeouts or allowing ethernet connections/docked usage connections only.

One-Click App Access

Instead of having end users swipe through screens to locate a business-critical app, use hardware key remapping to make them accessible and available with the push a single, pre-programmed key.

Battery Protection

Batteries are the lifeblood of any Samsung device and over-charging them shortens their lifespan. Battery protection mode allows you to stop devices from reaching a 100% charge when they’re left plugged in (82% of people leave their phones plugged in to charge overnight) and helps with:

• Extending battery lifespan
• Reducing frequency of charging cycles for workers in the field
• Costs associated with battery replacements (the average cost of a smartphone battery replacement ranges from $25 to $100)

Battery protection mode can be applied to your fleet of Samsung devices remotely as part of your SOTI MobiControl policy.

Keep Personal and Work Apps Separate on Corporate Devices

Since more and more employees are using work devices outside of working hours, organizations want a clear separation between third-party apps and corporate apps on fully managed corporate devices.
